Now about me: After earning a BA from Amherst College, an MD from Albany Medical College, and completing a family practice residency in Wisconsin, I practiced medicine for several years in various locations before volunteering for service with the United States Air Force at the age of thirty-five and enjoying many memorable adventures as a flight surgeon.
I was raised in the dairy country of upstate New York (alas, it is dairy country no longer), but my heart belongs to Kansas where I raised my children, own a home, and buried my dog.
